  • 6 slices thick bread (Texas toast)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  • First, slice each piece of bread into 3 sticks.
  • In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a little butter to coat the bottom.
  • Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are fully coated.
