  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 small head Cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can (15 oz) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it begins to soften.
  • Pour in diced tomatoes (with juice) and tomato sauce, stirring to combine.
  • Mix in the cooked rice and season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish, spreading evenly.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top before baking. You can also substitute ground turkey or use cauliflower rice for a low-carb version.
