Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Paper Towels

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Hamburger buns
  • 4 pieces Hash browns (frozen or homemade, cooked crispy)
  • 8 slices Crispy bacon
  • 4 pieces Fried eggs
  • 4 slices Pepper jack cheese

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with the salt and pepper. Divide and shape the mixture into four even patties, pressing a small indentation in the center of each to help them cook evenly.
  • Fry the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until they’re crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  • Prepare the hash browns according to package instructions or cook homemade ones in a skillet until they’re golden and crispy on both sides. Set aside and keep warm.
  • Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each patty and let it melt.
  • In a nonstick skillet, melt a touch of butter over medium heat. Crack in the eggs, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Optional, but recommended—split the hamburger buns and toast them lightly in the same pan or under a broiler for about a minute.
  • Place each cheesy burger patty on the bottom bun. Top with crispy hash brown, fried egg, and two slices of bacon. Finish with the top bun.
  • Enjoy immediately while everything is hot and fresh!

Notes

For a juicier burger, avoid pressing down on the patties while cooking and let them rest a few minutes before assembling. Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best taste.
