  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix Plus ingredients per package instructions.
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1/2 cup caramel frosting

Instructions

  • Preheat oven and prepare German chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  • Bake as directed and let it cool for a few minutes in the pan.
  • Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the warm cake, about 1 inch apart.
  • Mix the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce together, then pour over the cake, filling the holes.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans evenly on top.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting with chocolate frosting, followed by caramel frosting.
  • Chill for at least an hour before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle additional caramel and melted chocolate on top before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
