Instructions
Boil spaghetti in salted water with a splash of oil and herbs until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until just pink and starting to curl.
Add minced garlic and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring. Drizzle in olive oil and cook until shrimp are fully pink.
Add drained pasta to skillet. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Add reserved pasta water gradually, tossing until pasta is lightly coated and hot.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
Notes
For a citrusy finish, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. Great with garlic bread and a glass of white wine.
