Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Garnish

  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through (5–7 minutes).
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 more minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, marinara sauce, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with basil, and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through or microwave as needed. You can also freeze the dish for up to 2 months—just thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
