Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Pot

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak bites
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 package Tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Tortellini: Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Steak Bites: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the steak bites, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce heat to low, then pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly to combine. Add grated Parmesan cheese and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Combine: Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce, tossing to coat. Finally, incorporate the seared steak bites, stirring gently to warm everything through. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
  • Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving!

Notes

For the juiciest steak bites, avoid overcooking; aim for medium-rare. Feel free to substitute or add vegetables, like spinach or mushrooms, in the Alfredo sauce for extra flavor and nutrition.
