Garlic Butter Salmon with Spinach & Mushrooms in Creamy Sauce
Garlic Butter Salmon with Spinach & Mushrooms in Creamy Sauce is a delightful symphony of flavors that brings together the tenderness of salmon, the earthiness of mushrooms, and the richness of a luscious creamy sauce.
In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the salmon fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp butter and sauté the sliced mushrooms until tender. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add fresh spinach leaves and heavy cream, stirring until spinach is wilted.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the creamy mushroom and spinach sauce over the fillets.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For extra richness, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce. Substitute Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper taste. Be careful not to overcook the salmon—it should flake easily but remain moist.
