Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour Sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs Beaten
  • 1.5 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

For Frying

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Beat in the eggs, milk, and vanilla until the mixture is smooth.
  • Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pour the batter into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off, and squeeze small amounts into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer the bites to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and cool.
  • Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure your oil is at the right temperature to avoid soggy or overly crispy bites. Experiment with the size of your bites to find your perfect crunch-to-softness ratio.
