Instructions
In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread. Top with sliced strawberries and another slice of bread to form sandwiches.
In one shallow dish, mix flour, cinnamon, and salt. In another, combine eggs and milk.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with granulated sugar and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
