  • 1 large Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large head Cabbage, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, fry chopped bacon until crispy (about 5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  • In the same skillet, add diced onion. Sauté for 3–4 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Toss in the sliced cabbage. Stir well to coat with the bacon drippings and aromatics.
  • Add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix thoroughly.
  • Cover the skillet and let cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage is tender.
  • Stir in the reserved bacon, cook for 1 more minute, then serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in a skillet for best flavor and texture.
