  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)

Sauce

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the softened butter. Let it melt and start to bubble just a bit.
  • Add in the minced garlic and cook for around 1 minute until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn!
  • Toss in the shrimp. Add the peeled shrimp to the pan, and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked, squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top if you’re using it. Give everything a gentle stir to combine and allow the cheese to melt slightly.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat.
