Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Bake the crust for about 20 minutes until lightly golden.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Stir in chopped pecans into the filling mixture.
Pour the pecan mixture over the hot crust and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the filling is set.
Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
Notes
For cleaner slices, chill the bars before cutting and use a sharp knife wiped between cuts.
