Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef

Vegetables

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Tater Tots

  • 4 cups frozen tater tots

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion looks translucent. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Next, stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper. Mix it well until everything is combined.
  • Now, transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

This casserole is best served hot right out of the oven. It pairs well with a simple side salad or some warm bread. You can also add a dollop of sour cream or some chopped green onions on top for extra flavor!
