Ingredients

Chicken Breasts

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil and melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the breasts. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to reheat the chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
