Instructions
In a large skillet, cook the lean ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
Drain any excess grease, and then stir in the taco seasoning according to the package instructions. Add a little water if needed to ensure the beef is well coated with seasoning. Simmer for a few minutes until aromatic.
In a large serving bowl, layer the shredded lettuce on the bottom.
Sprinkle over the diced red onion and chopped tomatoes, followed by the seasoned ground beef.
Add in the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef layer.
Finally, crush the Dorito chips over the cheese, and then drizzle with both Italian and ranch dressings.
Toss gently to combine all the ingredients, ensuring the dressings coat everything evenly.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate for about 30 minutes for the flavors to meld!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To avoid soggy chips, add the Doritos only just before serving.
