Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Buttermilk

Fruits

  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, and mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the sliced strawberries, being careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
