Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 large Cucumber, diced Use fresh cucumbers for the best crunch.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Red onion, diced

Dressing and Toppings

  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing Use your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup Bacon bits Can use store-bought or freshly cooked.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the diced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the ranch dressing with the bacon bits. Season the dressing mixture with a pinch of salt and a few cracks of black pepper, adjusting to your taste.
  • Pour the ranch dressing and bacon mixture over the vegetables and cheese.
  • Gently toss everything together until each ingredient is evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately for a crisp and refreshing salad, or cover and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes if you prefer it extra cold.

Notes

For the crunchiest salad, use the freshest cucumbers and tomatoes. Store the dressing separately if making ahead to maintain crispness.
