Instructions
Step 1: Place the cubed brioche bread into the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
Step 2: In a bowl, combine the beaten eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Pour this mixture over the bread, pressing down to ensure all bread is submerged in the liquid.
Step 3: Cover and place the slow cooker insert into the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour, or overnight, to allow the bread to soak up the custard.
Step 4: Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the soaked bread and dot with butter cubes.
