1packetFrench onion soup mix
1cupbreadcrumbs

2largeeggs, beaten
1/4cupketchup
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1cupcaramelized onions
1cupSwiss cheese, sliced

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, beaten eggs, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix everything until well combined.
Line your crockpot with parchment paper or foil for easy removal.
Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of the crockpot.
Layer the caramelized onions and half of the Swiss cheese on top.
Add the rest of the meat mixture, pressing it gently to seal the edges.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.
In the last 10 minutes, sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top and cover until melted.
Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use homemade caramelized onions. You can also experiment with different cheeses like provolone or cheddar for a unique flavor.
