Ingredients

Chicken

  • 3-4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts

Seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Gravy Mixture

  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (0.87 ounce each)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounce)
  • 1 can chicken broth (14.5 ounce)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a bowl, whisk together gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
  • Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken. Add Dijon mustard if using and stir lightly.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it into the gravy.
  • Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or bread.

Notes

Try using chicken thighs for extra flavor! Great served over mashed potatoes, rice, or with a side of biscuits. Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
