  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 4 slices cooked bacon crumbled (optional)
  • 6 pieces sandwich buns

Instructions

  • Step 1: Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into your crock pot.
  • Step 2: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Step 3: Pour in the chicken broth and add the softened cream cheese on top.
  • Step 4: Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender.
  • Step 5: Once fully cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken right in the crock pot and mix well with the creamy sauce.
  • Step 6: Serve the shredded chicken on sandwich buns and top with crumbled bacon, lettuce, pickles, or cheese as desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce or mix in diced jalapeños. Leftovers can be used for wraps or over salads!
