  • Large Skillet
  • Paper Towels

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 12 sticks Mozzarella string cheese Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed for frying Vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each mozzarella piece first in flour, then in the egg, and finally roll in the seasoned breadcrumbs. Make sure each piece is fully coated.
  • In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Test the oil with a bit of breadcrumb; if it sizzles, it’s ready.
  • Carefully place the breaded mozzarella bites into the hot oil in small batches. Fry each side for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara or ranch.

Notes

Store leftover mozzarella bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For reheating, use an air fryer or oven to keep them crispy.
