Crispy Cheddar Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 lb chicken tenders or large chicken breasts

Cracker Coating

  • 2 sleeves Ritz crackers Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper To taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Crush the Ritz crackers into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or your hands.
  • Mix the shredded cheddar cheese with the cracker crumbs in a large bowl.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Dip each piece of chicken into the melted butter, then roll it in the cracker and cheese mixture. Press gently to coat well.
  • Place the coated chicken in a greased baking dish. Drizzle any remaining butter over the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days. To reheat, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes until the crust is crispy again.
