Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

Seafood

  • 2 fillets salmon, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon chunks with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 3: Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4: Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Gently place the seared salmon and shrimp on top.
  • Step 5: Transfer to serving plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, opt for half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Keep an eye on the shrimp to avoid overcooking.
