Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Bacon

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Oil and Butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Cream and Sauces

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional)

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Garnish

  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
  • Add olive oil and butter to the same skillet. Sear chicken on both sides for 5-7 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Add heavy cream, honey, Dijon mustard, and optional apple cider vinegar to the skillet. Stir and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top to coat.
  • Top with crumbled bacon and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a richer flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream to maintain sauce consistency.
