Instructions
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, celery, and carrot. Sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
Sprinkle in flour and stir constantly for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add seafood stock while whisking. Bring to a simmer and let flavors meld.
Add shrimp and crab meat. Cook for 3-5 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
Stir in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and warm through without boiling.
Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute coconut milk for heavy cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
