  • 2 pieces Boneless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices Smoked bacon strips
  • 8 ounces Pasta (like fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • optional Fresh herbs (like parsley or basil) for garnishing

Instructions

Preparation of Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat some olive oil and cook the chicken until it’s golden and fully cooked. Set aside and let it rest before slicing it into strips.

Cooking the Pasta

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Bacon

  • In the same skillet, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.

Making the Cream Sauce

  • In the leftover bacon fat, sauté onions and minced garlic until translucent. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon into the cream sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Heat through, making sure everything is warm.

Notes

Adjust the amount of cream to ensure the sauce is neither too thick nor thin. Balance salty flavors with cracked black pepper or a squeeze of lemon juice.
