  • 2 cups Broccoli florets

  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by boiling a large pot of salted water, then add your choice of pasta. Cook until al dente according to package instructions, typically about 8-10 minutes. While pasta cooks, prepare the chicken.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, adding any optional flavorings like garlic powder. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet, let it rest, then slice it.
  • In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
  • Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into a creamy sauce. Add the sliced chicken and cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top!
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley for a splash of color.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or water if the sauce has thickened.
