Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4-5 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Bacon

  • 6 strips quality bacon, cooked and crumbled

Soup

  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup

Pasta

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (e.g., penne or rotini)

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Vegetables

  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 6–7 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Let it rest and then dice into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, bacon, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, and veggies (if using). Mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
