Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Plastic Wrap

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, chopped cranberries, half of the toasted pecans, green onions, parsley, honey, and orange zest. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once everything is mixed well, shape the mixture into a ball.
  • Roll the cheese ball in the remaining chopped pecans to coat it nicely. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and chill it in the fridge for several hours until it’s firm.
  • When you’re ready to serve, enjoy it chilled with some crackers, slices of toasted baguette, or fresh apple slices.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing. You can toast the pecans yourself for extra flavor.
