1canrefrigerated crescent roll dough(8 oz)
1cupcooked crab meat, chopped(fresh, canned, or imitation)
4ozcream cheesesoftened
2tablespoonsmayonnaise
2green onionsfinely chopped
1teaspoonOld Bay seasoningor any seafood seasoning
1/2cupshredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Salt and pepperto taste
Optional garnishchopped parsley or paprika
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Place 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from oven and optionally garnish with chopped parsley or paprika. Serve warm.
Notes
To make ahead, prep and roll the crescents, then bake just before serving. Substitute cooked shrimp or tuna if desired. Freeze uncooked bites on a tray, then store in a zip-top bag up to 2 months.
