  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, chopped (fresh, canned, or imitation)
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning or any seafood seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish chopped parsley or paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point.
  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and optionally garnish with chopped parsley or paprika. Serve warm.

Notes

To make ahead, prep and roll the crescents, then bake just before serving. Substitute cooked shrimp or tuna if desired. Freeze uncooked bites on a tray, then store in a zip-top bag up to 2 months.
