Ingredients

Meat

  • 0.5 lb Ground Beef

Seasonings

  • Worcestershire Sauce to taste
  • Brown Sugar to taste
  • Onion & Herb Seasoning to taste
  • Minced Onions to taste

Beans

  • 1 can (28 oz) Bush’s Baked Beans or your preferred brand

Vegetables

  • Chopped Onions
  • Chopped Green Bell Peppers

Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat. Season with Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion & herb seasoning, and minced onions. Break the ground beef into tiny pieces as it cooks.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking pan, combine the cooked ground beef mixture with the canned baked beans. Add chopped onions and green bell peppers.
  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly in the baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the beans are bubbling and the flavors are well combined.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving to allow the flavors to meld perfectly.

Notes

Serve hot with cornbread, grilled meats, or as a barbecue side. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove or microwave before serving.
