  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Cotton Candy Flavoring or cotton candy mix
  • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows optional for fluffiness
  • Pastel Food Coloring optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy and well-combined—about 2-3 minutes.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract and mixing well after each addition.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the cotton candy flavoring and if you're using, fold in the mini marshmallows and a few drops of pastel food coloring to achieve your desired hue.
  • Using a cookie scoop, place rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are slightly golden.
  • Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Freeze baked cookies in a single layer for up to three months.
