Instructions
Beat the room-temperature butter in a bowl until smooth and pale, about 2–3 minutes.
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition until smooth.
Stir in vanilla extract and salt. Blend well to combine.
Slowly add in heavy cream while mixing until desired creamy consistency is achieved.
Notes
Add more cream (1 tbsp at a time) if icing is too thick, or extra powdered sugar if too thin. Great on cinnamon rolls, muffins, pancakes, and as a fruit dip. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.
