Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar for cinnamon sugar coating
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon for cinnamon sugar coating

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a 12-cup muffin tin.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Divide batter evenly into muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • While muffins cool slightly, mix sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  • Dip muffin tops into cinnamon sugar mixture and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
