  • 1 stick Cinnamon stick or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Honey raw or organic
  • 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 slice Fresh ginger optional

Instructions

  • Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan.
  • Add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and ginger, if using.
  • Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in honey and lemon juice.
  • Strain if using fresh ginger and serve warm.

Notes

Use raw honey for added health benefits. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey. If you like a stronger flavor, let it steep longer.
