Instructions
Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan.
Add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and ginger, if using.
Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in honey and lemon juice.
Strain if using fresh ginger and serve warm.
Notes
Use raw honey for added health benefits. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey. If you like a stronger flavor, let it steep longer.
