Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Cinnamon Roll Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing) Open the can and set the icing aside for later.
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature is fine.
  • 1/4 cup Milk Whole or 2% for creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract For warm, aromatic flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon To enhance the cinnamon swirl.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Cut into pieces for even melting.

Optional Serving Ingredients

  • Powdered sugar For a pretty dusting.
  • Maple syrup or reserved icing For drizzling.

Instructions

  • Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside for later. Cut each roll into bite-sized pieces, about four pieces per roll.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  • Dip each cinnamon roll bite into the egg mixture, ensuring every side is coated. Allow excess to drip off so bites do not get soggy.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the coated cinnamon roll bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the bites from the skillet and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle with the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls or maple syrup, and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, place cooled bites on a baking sheet to freeze individually for 1–2 hours, then transfer to a freezer bag. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 8–10 minutes or in an air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes to restore crispness.
