Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • powdered sugar (optional, for serving)
  • maple syrup or icing from the cinnamon rolls (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside for later. Cut each roll into bite-sized pieces, about four pieces per roll.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  • Dip each cinnamon roll bite into the egg mixture, ensuring every side is coated.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the coated cinnamon roll bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the bites from the skillet and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle with the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls or maple syrup, and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute almond milk and plant-based butter. Keep cooked bites warm in the oven at low heat if preparing in batches.
