Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon until fully combined.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk the whole milk, 2 large eggs, 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
While warm, brush the top and sides with 1/4 cup melted butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Slice and serve warm or allow to cool before storing.
