Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • 1 box Brownie Mix Plus required eggs, oil, and water as directed on the box.

Toppings

  • 1 pint Fresh Strawberries Hulled and halved.
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips For ganache.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Room temperature or straight from fridge.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven according to the brownie mix instructions. Line or spray a baking dish as recommended by the box.
  • Prepare the brownie batter exactly as directed on the package, mixing eggs, oil, and water with the dry mix until smooth.
  • Pour the prepared batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake as per package instructions. Insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs for a fudgy texture.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  • Once cooled, arrange the halved strawberries over the brownie surface in a single layer, cut side down.
  • Place the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  • Pour the warm ganache over the arranged strawberries, spreading gently with a spatula.
  • Chill the brownies in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the ganache set.
  • Remove from fridge, slice into squares with a sharp knife, and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
