  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup extra mini chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and salt, then mix well to combine.
  • Gradually add the heat-treated flour, mixing until incorporated.
  • Stir in the milk to achieve a dough-like consistency.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled cookie dough ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Place them back on the parchment-lined tray and immediately sprinkle extra mini chocolate chips on top.
  • Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
