  • 1 box Brownie mix Plus ingredients called for on the box
  • 1 cup Butter Softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups Chocolate chips For coating
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9x13-inch pan. Let cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in milk and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  • Use a small cookie scoop to form cookie dough into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  • Crumble the cooled brownies into small pieces.
  • Flatten a piece of brownie in your hand, place a cookie dough ball in the center, and wrap the brownie around the dough, pressing to seal. Repeat with remaining brownie pieces and cookie dough balls.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil together, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate until chocolate is set.

Notes

For a richer taste, use dark chocolate for coating. Sprinkle with crushed nuts or sprinkles for extra fun. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
