  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar

  • 1. Prep the Pie Crust: Start by placing your chocolate pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan. If using a store-bought crust, make sure to follow the directions for pre-baking if necessary.
  • 2. Cream the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • 3. Add Cool Whip: Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully integrated.
  • 4. Flavor It Up: Add the vanilla extract and fold it in gently.
  • 5. Layer with Cherries: Pour half of the creamy mixture into the pie crust, followed by half of the sliced cherries. Repeat the layers.
  • 6. Chill: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • 7. Serve with Garnish: Once set, adorn your pie with chocolate shavings or a drizzle of chocolate syrup before serving.
