Ingredients

Chicken Cutlet

  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts Pounded to 1/4 inch thickness

Breading Station

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Sandwich Assembly

  • 4 buns Soft Buns or Ciabatta Rolls
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 medium Tomato Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Or any preferred condiment

Instructions

  • Start by pounding the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  • Dredge the chicken in flour, dip it in the egg, and then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the breaded chicken cutlets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Drain the fried cutlets on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Assemble the sandwich by placing the cutlet on a bun and adding lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayonnaise.
