  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy or chunky
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  • Step 2: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3: Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Step 4: Drop dollops of peanut butter on the batter and swirl with a knife. Sprinkle chocolate chips and peanut butter chips on top.
  • Step 5: Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. The brownies should be soft in the center.
  • Step 6: Allow to cool in pan before slicing into squares. Lift out using the parchment paper overhang.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for a week. These brownies freeze well for up to 3 months.
