  • 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning (for sauce)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt (for sauce)
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (for sauce)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning (for sauce)

Optional Base

  • 1 large Baked Potato per serving (optional; baked, cut open and slightly mashed)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high with a drizzle of oil. Sear steak pieces for 1 minute per side, until browned but still juicy. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 2: Toss shrimp in 2 tsp olive oil and a little chili powder or Cajun seasoning. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until they curl into a C shape and turn golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 3: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté bell peppers and onions for about 6–7 minutes until slightly tender and charred. Season with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Step 4: In a saucepan, heat 1 1/2 cups heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to bubble slightly. Add 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese and seasonings (1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning). Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 5: In a serving tray or bowl, layer the sautéed veggies, then steak and shrimp on top. Generously drizzle the cheese sauce over everything.
  • Step 6: Optional: Bake large russet potatoes at 450°F for 1 hour 15 minutes, seasoned with oil, salt, and pepper. Cut open and slightly mash the insides with a fork. Layer all toppings directly on top for a hearty bowl.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep sauce separate if possible to preserve texture.
