Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cans Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough Pillsbury recommended

Filling

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Butter Melted

Topping

  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar For topping
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon For topping

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to beat the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the perforations.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered rolls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the filling is set.
  • Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest filling. Real butter adds the best flavor. Avoid margarine or butter substitutes.
