Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef

Vegetables

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cheese

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Pasta

  • 1 package macaroni noodles, cooked and drained (16 oz)

Sauces

  • 1 can condensed tomato soup (10.75 oz)
  • 1/2 cup pickle relish
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard

Optional Toppings

  • 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
  • Additional cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is browned. Remember to drain any extra grease.
  • Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  • In a big bowl, mix the cooked beef, cheddar cheese, cooked macaroni noodles, tomato soup, pickle relish, ketchup, and mustard.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Top it with extra cheese and optional bacon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to add in your favorite toppings, like diced tomatoes or jalapeños, to give it a kick. Make sure to drain the grease from the cooked beef for a less oily casserole. If you want an even cheesier dish, add more cheese on top before baking.
