  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1 jar (24 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend optional
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • to taste fresh basil or parsley for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium-sized casserole dish.
  • Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked tortellini, pizza sauce, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir everything well to coat the pasta and pepperoni evenly.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and the Italian cheese blend evenly over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, flavorful magic!

Notes

Leftovers store beautifully—place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm portions in the microwave or oven until hot and bubbly.
